Healing Your Mind, Body and Spirit

You Can Heal Your Life (Gift Edition)In the book, "You Can Heal Your Life" by Louise L. Hay, some great ideas for holistic health are mentioned (pg. 105-6):

The most important actions/feelings to work on for maximum health is loving yourself unconditionally and focusing on forgiveness. This is best done by taking control of your thoughts and refusing to think negatively. Here are some ways to encourage this healthy lifestyle:

Nurture and care for your body by eating foods that make you feel good and are healthy for you. Click here to read about some good-mood foods.

Find a form of exercise you enjoy. She suggests sports, swimming, dancing, Tai-chi, martial arts, yoga, or trampoline.

Look into getting a massage or other types of body work; such as, Rolfing, Heller Work, Trager, acupuncture, or chiropractic work.

Pray regularly and follow it with meditation (quiet listening). Sit with your eyes closed and say, " What is it I need to know?" Focus on love and let go of distracting thoughts- clear your mind.

Become connected with your higher power. Practicing forgiveness and unconditional love are spiritual practices.
